Hotel and resort design can vary widely in terms of image and décor. eo is up for the challenge of any style whether it is minimalist and pure, ornate and lavish, fun and funky, or anything in between. We can connect you with artists that excel in each of these realms and who will contribute harmoniously to the overall vision. However, sometimes harmony is not the answer and rather contrast and drama are more perfectly suited to a hotel’s vibe. eo understands how to make that happen in the right way. When it comes to hospitality work, we’re happy to think outside the box. For the rooms and corridors, so many of our artists’ works translate well to print, so we can easily carry the same themes into the circulation spaces and sleeping chambers.
institutional
This sector includes everything from hospitals to retirement communities to college buildings to governmental facilities. Obviously, the needs of all these clients are very diverse. And even within these different organizations, there are contrasting needs. eo enjoys variety and our large contingent of talented artists also appreciate “mixing it up.” eo is able to address all of these varying needs while still creating a unified whole. In medical facilities it is often desired to present artwork that is calming for patients and family, but also interesting enough to allow for a bit of daydreaming. For retirement communities it is often desired to present a bit of nostalgia and sometimes worldly images. For college buildings it may be work that is a bit more cerebral and in tune with the specific function of the space, such as science, engineering, literature, or economics. The latter is true also for governmental buildings, where the art speaks to the function of the space, supports it, and even expands on it.

eo is well versed in placing artwork in corporate settings. We believe that artwork in corporate venues provides many fundamental and desirable functions. It can encourage creativity, productivity, and openness of thought, it can heighten morale, it can promote relationship building, and perhaps most amazing of all, it can speak to the goals and visions of the company. Just like the other sectors, the work can be understated, dignified, and formal or it can be fun, upbeat, and playful. It just depends on what the business type and function of the space is. For corporate lobbies, we can commission large installation paintings or sculptures that offer very dramatic and impressive statements. For executive office areas, we can offer work that may be smaller in scale, but not at all diminished in quality or substance. eo is nicely positioned to assist with both multi-family residential as well as individual buyers. Much of our business is with individual buyers and we give them the same close attention and assistance as our larger clients.
