eo is pleased to announce it’s transition from art gallery to art consulting firm. According to Owner, John R. Schroeder, the move recognizes several important facts: 1) that most of eo’s business occurs within a core group of discerning residential, institutional, and corporate art collectors, mostly outside the Connecticut River Valley area; 2) that an increasing number of sales are occurring through eo’s website as many buyers are located outside of Connecticut; 3) and that most of their clients are in need of a more personal, tailored service in placing art at home or at work.

In five short years, eo has gained a strong international reputation and has positioned itself closely with top tier galleries across the U.S. as well as Europe, Asia, and South America. eo’s slate of exceptionally talented, highly intelligent, and deeply passionate artists has attracted the attention of thousands across the globe and each are earning an important position in the advancement of art history. Whether hanging in international art fairs, embellishing the pages of acclaimed books and magazines, beating in the heart of the academic world, or gracing the walls of respected art museums, these artists are surely making names for themselves.

While Schroeder and Executive Director Sherrie Coleman will miss the many opportunities to engage the public through eo’s numerous store front events which ranged from artist receptions, to film nights, to intimate soirée’s, they look forward to serving serious art collectors in a more focused, customized, and exclusive fashion. Schroeder’s expertise as a renowned architect and interior designer and Coleman’s exceptional management and curatorial skill will continue to provide a powerful combination in serving the needs of both new and seasoned art buyers.
